Over 60 volunteers from around the country chipped in to make this calendar to support the Special Care Baby Unit and when the Christchurch Earthquake hit in the middle of filming they all said lets print some more and help them out too! Middle of summer and dead freezing for this shoot.  Check out the blue jacket Georgia was wearing in the behind the scenes while her poor sister was in her bikini in the blustery Petone Foreshore.  This beautiful Packard is one of only 7 in the world.  The model on top is a one of a kind :). Our angel was our 13th month.  I just thought the dress was so pretty I wanted to use it and then into my studio walked Nicola...I hadn't seen her in a year or so (she is the daughter of a good friend), and I thought...there is my angel...and so she was. All proceeds are being split between the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal and the Special Care Baby Unit at the Hutt Valley DHB.   So make sure you buy one for yourself and one for someone you love. Sneak Peak for the Oh Baby Mad Hatters Tea Party Photoshoot.  Had so much fun with these guys.  And it was an absolute pleasure to finally meet Anne Marie from Return to Eden.  I ran across her work online and we decided to collaborate on this project.  She is a true soul sister and I can't wait for our next projects.  We are both idea girls so you get us together and look out they just come a flooding!  The kids were fantastic...Eden and her gorgeous shy smile, Isabella and her constant laughter and joy, Sophia and her sophisticated modelling (I can't get over this kid!), Gorgeous Maia whom I poached from the Free Range Kids Book because she just looked the part, and we certainly cannot forget our gorgeous Paigie...forever my cover girl!
We source our models either from my having photographed them for their families and seeing a special something there that would work for my commercial projects or from casting calls on our Facebook page so make sure you are a fan of our facebook page and you don't miss out.

And then just because I felt guilty after creating this image I looked around at the mountains of dust that have come about since I started this project and went on a cleaning spree.  My room is deliciously tidy now. :)
