Adrienne received a gift to come to my studio from her BFF for her 40th Birthday. I really think there must be a law somewhere about looking this amazing at fourty...But I am not a hater, I am a lover, and lordy do I love this brave minx. It was freeking freezing on the day of her shoot back in November but this wee Scorpio would have none of it. She had always wanted to have a shoot where she was coming out of the water so into the harbour we went (yes me too...cold and all :) and we gave her the ultimate photoshoot! Her hair and make up were by Jessie Wright on of our studio make up artists. Adrienne was so excited during the shoot she didn't want it to end.... None of us did. Fantastic!!! Her ExAll Black partner gets to see the ones that will not make it to my blog. They are for his eyes only!
Nicola reminds me a fair amount of myself. She is a woman of Amazonian proportions that refuses to accept anything but love for her Goddess given curvy shape. She even requested that I very much minimize the photoshop that I do on her images, she wanted no nips or tucks or anything of the sort. She has curves and is darn proud of them. I wish I could show you her private boudoir collection because they are stunners through and through. She is a belly dancer, and swords woman, and we had a great time photographing those aspects of her as well. What a BEAUTY!!!! I really do fall in love with all of my muses. There is so much wonderfulness there it is hard to settle for just one shoot with them, so it is great fun to try to squeeze all of their wonderfulness in to one. :).
Come on. You know you have thought about it....getting all dolled up and having your picture taken at your sexiest! Something to show the grandkids to let them know that you were quite the catch in your day.
Our crew is all female and we are all very passionate about making women look absolutely stunning. We are friendly and cuddly and playful and we have a wonderful giggly girly time.

I have a secret to tell you. When I was a child I was an artist. I was always drawing my friends and family, painting them photographing them from the time I could hold a crayon....My spirit even as a child was certain of its purpose in life....But life intervened for a while and I chose a path of responsibility and level levelheadedness.... That lasted about 13 years, then I finally woke up into the siren call of my art. When I am photographing I get pulled into a world where time ceases to exist. I go to a place of wonder and amazement and I get so happy and excited and peaceful at the same time. A different vision kicks in and I can see past the outer shell and I see into a persons spirit and see the beauty that lies within, sometimes even hidden from the person themselves. It is a wonderful place to go and I love creating art from what I see there. This is what I do. I take the magic of you and filter it through my romantic whimsy and pull out something beautiful and unique for you,your home,and your family. When i am photographing people together I can feel and see the love that that have for each other and this is what I create art from...Ultimately I have become a Love Artist. Not the kind that was legalized in New Zealand in the last few years but one that creates, photographs, and paints the love that I find inside and between people. I love my job it makes me so happy to show people the beauty that resides within them and between them.

Museum Hotel Girly Days
Our first Museum Hotel Girly day was held In April. We hired our a suite, set up our lights, brought in a crack Hair and Make Up team and had a good old girly time! Half of the girls wanted modeling portfolios and the other half just wanted to have some incredibly sexy and beautiful photos of themselves. Some ladies had lingerie shots as well in the privacy of the suite. It was a grand old time held by all. We are holding these at the Museum Hotel monthly but they book up fast so make sure you get yours booked in. The cost for the day is $250.00 and for this you receive a delicious time being spoiled getting your hair and make up worked to perfection. Then you will get to have a modelling lesson with Mandi Lynn who will show you how to display your body in the best way to accent your assets. Then it is off for an hour and a half long photo session around the hotel and out in the Wellington waterfront. Beautiful!
