The Best Family | Wellington Birth Photographer

Sarah and I met over a year ago on a photo shoot where she brought along her very pregnant belly and her gorgeous girls Lucy and Sophie and handsome Rich.  I fell in love with the girls and was very blessed to be invited to the birth of the baby Kendra.  This was my first experience doing birth photography professionally, and I absolutely loved it.  I worked for years as an obstetrical nurse delivering babies around the world but this was the first time I didn't have to even think about anything but the beauty and the art of what I was seeing.  I was completely hooked so if you are at all considering having your birth photographed please do not hesitate to contact me as I would love to be involved.  Anyway, here are some of my favourite images of Sarah and her wonderful family, and if you look closely you will find a few at the birth as well.

Isn't she stunning! I had wanted a pregnant dancer to photograph and got so lucky.  She actually flew down from Auckland for the shoot, bless her.  This is the first of the images.  I am working one up at the moment for Wellington Photographer of the Year.  Wish me luck!
